THE CHOICE OF OPTIMUM COMFORT
In the world of bathroom linen, the choice between cotton and bamboo can seem tricky. However, understanding the differences between these two materials can help you make an informed decision to maximise your comfort. What are the distinguishing features of cotton and bamboo bath linen, to help you choose the best option for your needs.
Cotton vs Bamboo: From Materials to Sensations
Softness and texture
Our bamboo bath towels are renowned for their incomparable softness. Cotton towels have a reputation for becoming rough after a few washes.

Moisture absorption

Breathability and Antimicrobial Properties
Cotton tends to store water and be less breathable. This is why cotton bath towels quickly smell like "wet dog". Bamboo towels are much more breathable and don't tend to store water. With Comptoir du Bambou towels, the breathability of bamboo fibre provides antimicrobial properties, ensuring all-weather comfort and natural hygiene.
