Towel folding guide
Folding towels in a hotel is a common task to create a neat and attractive presentation. Here are some commonly used techniques for folding hotel towels.
Fan folding
Start by unfolding the towel completely. Then fold it accordion-style, making alternate folds about 2 to 3 centimetres wide.
Once you have finished accordion folding, hold the bottom fold and fold the napkin in half to create a fan shape.
Flower folding
Unfold the napkin and lay it flat. Fold it in half to form a rectangle. Then, starting from one corner, roll the napkin up to the middle, leaving the other corner unfolded. Repeat the same operation with the other corner, rolling the napkin towards the centre. Then fold the two rolled ends together to form the shape of a flower.
cygnE folding
Start by folding the napkin in half to form a triangle. Then fold the right-hand corner of the triangle upwards to create the swan's neck. Next, fold the bottom corners of the triangle back to form the swan's wings. Finally, unfold the bottom of the napkin slightly to form the swan's tail.
These folding techniques are often used in hotels to add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the presentation of towels. Don't hesitate to practise and experiment with different methods to find the one that best suits your needs and the ambience of your establishment.
